    Yea that will work, I also run a heavy bead on the sides that are going against the walls, it helps fix the tray and is a second line of defence if ya like against water leaks when the jobs complete.

    For a tray that size, no more than 2 tubes needed. depending on how flat it is on the underside you might get away with just 1 tube.

    so the apprentice managed to smash my trusty cordless drill today, don't ask! am still crying over it lol now having 6 18vLi batteries, does anyone have any experience with the above drill, will be mainly used fitting kitchen, bedrooms etc.. and general joinery work. cheers

    An orbital sander will work to an extent, But you will still need the detail sander to get into the corners/ tight areas. I done the same to my staircase last year when I refurbed it, just takes time mate!

    I have the same one as the one in foxholes link. I use it daily for kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, it is the best I have had, and av had a few. my tip is to get a good quality tripod for it, ideal for setting kitchens out. steve

    fine toothed saw, spear n Jackson do a saw for upvc, and use a shallow cutting angle. I have used a mitre saw (slideing chop saw) in the past, just need a fine blade in.
