    Painting over eggshell with eggshell

Apolgies if this is a stupid question! last summer I painted all the door frames with the usal undercoat and the egg shell paint as the mrs did not want a "shiny" look that gloss gives. Now some of frames look very dull! For these can I just re apply another coat of egg shell, or do I...

    Recessed Ceiling Heaters

Thanks. We have fan already installed which come on when the lights are on and stays on for a while after the lights are turned off..... Having the switch outised the door is not an issue, I guess what might be is the fact that there is not a timer, eg you want the bathroom to be warm...

Holes In Loft Looking Into Garden

Thanks. Makes sense re the overflow pioe hole as the system was updated. So I am assuming I do no need to worry, my only concern was that I am losing heat and that defies the whole point of insulation? But I do not want to get any work done if I do not need it I guess... Thanks

    Setting Flow Temp on System

Thanks once again. The rads are less than a year old, so I guess I have concluded: Leave the top HW temp as this is controlled by the temp setting on the uniSTOR and use the rad bottom temp button in accordance with seasons and in the book or basically how hot I need them. Thank you...

Thank you both for your assistance. There is no VR65 fitted. All I have is a honeywell room stat and the drayton control programmer. You say to set the bolier stat to 5 degrees above the unistor set temperature - assuming you mean the bottom knob which controls the temp of water...

Hi, I have the eco tec plus boiler and unistor cyclinder. Hallway has a room thermostat and most rads have trv's. My initial question is to check that I am using this how I should be. water: - temp is set on the unistor currently at 65c - question is that on the bolier there is a gauge...

    Setting Flow Temp on System

thanks for your reply and advice. To summarise, the water temp on the bolier can be turned right down as the temp setting on the unisotr (65c) controls this? The temp dial for the radiators on the bolier purely heat the water which is sent to the rads, so to save money I shld not have this...
