Well if too much force is used and stoptap gets sheared off they could argue that it was my fault and try to charge me for it which i would dispute. I know of a sheared stoptap but this was fire brigade so no problem. No personal knowledge of any disputes,just wary.

Having lived in a house with 3 showers off one combi i can vouch that they are better as users end up battling with each other for the supply. I agree about the electric shower reasoning but some customers are not happy with the flowrate from those.

Aqualisa outlets have a short thread and most of the generic hoses from B&q etc will leak. Get an origional aqualisa or replacement from a plumbers merchant. Take in the old one. Shower heads tend to have standard threads.

Press down on the pin with a spoon it should go down then spring up when released, it will only have a very short travel. If it does not spring up its stuck.

OK there is a big knurled nut under the black plastic. This unscrews to remove the head unit anticlockwise looking from above. You will then see the pin sticking up from the valve body.
