I have heard that salt based softeners accelerate corrosion in condensing combi boilers due to the condensing process. Apparently this can reduce the life to about 18 months. Not much of a return on all that cash. :!:

Sounds like it could be an electrical fault, as you said it is probably just the fuse 2amp I think. Oh yeah on the bad luck front, avoid ladders and electricity for the rest of the week... :lol: be lucky :!:

Hi all, I have just had a 105e installed (last week) and it makes a loud banging/vibrating noise. The noise occurs when the boiler in on CH+DHW and starts when you turn on a hot tap. The heating can be on for hours without noise, but as soon as you turn on the hot tap the system goes mental...
