    thanks gas112, it does appear to be the flow is ok as both inputs to rads are too hot to touch but other side is just warm. i assumed by the fact that after draining both rads refilled quickly but are really slow to heat up

    :oops: hi folks, i installed the taps a few years back, but the basin cold is seizing . they are victorian style 4 arms accross type with a ceramic oldie worldy cap, i have tried without success to pry/ping em off and now have chipped the ceramic, what am i doing wrong???
