    Oh I dont know. My Dewalts 18v batteries are still going strong and they get a good hammering :twisted: Its just that the dewalt is so damned heavy and after a while your arm just wants to drop off! :lol:

    Yeah, I looked at the Festool, looks like a blinding bit of kit! heard they are good. Just wasn't sure if they were suitable for big old worktops ? :roll:

    Hi David dont know if this helps finance wise, but I have contacted a company called foundation east who finance new business in the south east of england. I was told about them by Business Link so again get onto them matey.. just a thought :roll:

    Hi I wonder if anybody would be kind enough to advise me on the best router available on the market today for cutting and joining worktops. I have been looking at both the Dewalt 1/2" and the Makita 1/2 inch but want to make the right choice prior to starting my new venture :D

    14.4v . . . Ideal and convienent for both DIY or trade. I personally like the makita and you can pick em up dirt cheap on Ebay 8)
