too simple seemingly for my frazzled brain... and which numbered ports do the said connected cables go to at the hob; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 . ??? ...its been a long week...my team have got stuffed....kids driving me insane !!

thanks for that however manual states that ''it is equipped with pre connected electricity supply cable'' and doesnt actually show the connections at the hob end - as taking them off invalidates the warranty according to the manual later. Typical manufacturer !!!

Newly in house and only 2 of the 4 'rings' work on the hob. Checked supply feed and original supplied with the appliance with black, brown and two blue cables along with earth, replaced with standard live, neutral and earth, seemingly switched from old cooker direct onto the halogen (original...
