    Washing machine drum wheel issue

Less than 300 is great, if you have up to 300 to play with to start with, which I don't. So, if it's a case of approx £20 every now and then, then so be it.

    Washing machine drum wheel issue

Sorry, I seem to have forgotten to add that it's actually a Candy grand plus. Unfortunately there is no ability of any adjustment so that backlash can be set. It seems as though it's been designed to destroy itself after a while. Would have been better if the teeth in the wheel were also made of...

    Washing machine drum wheel issue

Hi all, I have a grand plus washing machine. It stopped spinning last night but the motor was still running, after removing the back panel and expecting to find a snapped drive belt, I found that the plastic teeth inside the drum wheel had been ground away by the metal teeth on the drum. This is...

Hi all The wipers on my 1983 Orion have stopped working, they will only move by a quarter of an inch, then drop back down to the bottom of the windscreen again. Over the last few days, they have both had a mind of their own. The passenger side one would operate normally, then stop in the...

    Peugeot 206 rear axle bearings

Hi all My local garage has advised that I need to replace the rear axle bearings on my peugeot 206, however, they have also advised that it would be easier just to replace the entire back axle instead of just the bearings. Is this correct, does anyone know? Is it impossible to change the...

Hi all, I need to have the headgasket on my Paj replaced, thing is, I'd like to do it myself. Everyone I mention it to though seems to be terrified of changing headgaskets on anything. I'd like to know if it's something that is fairly straight forward to do. I have experience of repairing...
