my washing machine will start and wash drain but wont spin it has a few revolutions but nothing else the pump sounds like it is continually emptying can anyone help or do i need to buy a new machine?

the boiler is a Baxi Solo with a 3 port valve system!

my daughter has a heating problem she has 3 radiators that wont get hot in her house. i have tried shuting all other rads down, pump on max but still none of the 3 get warm 2 are downstairs and i upstairs can any one help?
