    Going round in Circles. Hot wet clothes after drying cycle. There is an aluminium duct at side top of machine that contains heater and fan. Heats up O.K. and fan rotates freely. Not clear whether this is condenser as no water supply to it that I can discern. Hence condensation must take place...

    Cleared filter (found £2.50p!) but still not satisfied with drying. Previous post pointed to Condenser or inlet valve. Can somebody amplify that possible solution or give me indication of the location of those items please?

    Great detective work. C17 replacement works fine. Anybody want 5 C17's surplus to requirements?! On second thoughts maybe I'll keep one in case fault reoccurs in 3 years time!
