I think I came across a similar problem a few years back. It sounds like you may have got the switch return mixed up with a neutral.

Well i re-charged the expansion vessel which i found quite simple and all seems ok for now. Thanks for the heads up and have probably saved me a few quid. Paul

Thanks for the feed back. There is no info on re-charging the expansion vessel in the manual. I'll read the faq's and get back if any more info is required. Cheers

from reading other posts and threads I gathered that. Does it need re-charging? or replacing? How much would it roughly cost for either of these. As I guess I wont be able to do it myself. Thanks again Paul

Hi, I have recently been having problems with my Glow Worm Betacom 30. First off, it kept losing pressure from the PRV and now that has been replaced and is fine. It doesn't leak at cold pressure. Now since installing the new PRV the boiler needs to have a pressure above 1.5 bar...
