    I went to fit a surrey flange today but it looks like I have a none standard hot water cylinder tank it has a male ¾ bsp thread fitted as part of the tank, is it possible to drill out the existing flange and replace it with an Essex Boss 1” BSP female thread, or will this wreck the tank. :cry:
