bellwire can also be used to just connect the bell push to the bell unit which could be battery powered...i thought that maybe with transformer powered bells the current might be too high for the wire....thats what i was querying....

hi...i recently put a post on here regarding wiring 2 doorbells off 1 transformer..they did not work as suggested by wiring off the 1a transformer..i managed to get it working by replacing the old 1a transformer with a new 2a transformer...works perfectly now but i have used bell wire to connect...

what if i get another 1a transformer for the new bell...can it be wired up so it uses the same bell button..or will that conflict with the existing setup...

hi...is it possible to wire up 2 doorbells off one transformer..i have a bell on a friedland 1amp 8v transformer but want to add another bell on the first floor...ive been told i can add another on the same transformer by wiring in the second bell directly to the first bell with the wires going...
