    Resurfacing Concrete Path

You can certainly simply add a new thin layer of concrete to give it a new surface. I would add a complete layer, rather than just touch it up, so that there isn't a mish-mash of colour/styles. There are also contractors who can do it for you, but if you're comfortable laying concrete...

How to explain the offside rule to women

I love the big billboard advert near my house by a certain drinks brand that asks if you do indeed have a wicked side: It says "Offside Rule Explained for Women". "If the flag goes up, its offside".

    Peugeot Expert Van mileometer

I had something similar on a fiat - there was *something* draining the battery somewhere. So for a while I had disconnect the battery everytime I left the car somewhere. When reconnecting it, I kept hearing a little clicking noise, which turned out to be a relay which wouldn't shut down, so...

    FREEEEEEEEEZING!!!!!

How about a thorough virus scan (perhaps leave it running overnight if it runs slowly). Also a scan by Windows Defender - either of these should root out any viruses or trojans that are slowing your system down. Windows Defender is free from Microsoft. Perhaps also try the disk cleanup...

    Decking Rope

Would agree with Thermo, but I only soaked some 36mm rope for 3-4 hours (and then let it dry), rather than for a few days.

    Renault Espace

You'll need to slide it out the drivers side wheel arch. Sounds simple, but this is awkward, and requires pulling, levering and twisting the steering rack. Levering the brake servo bracket about is required, but be careful that you don't use too much force. You will have to twist the steering...

Making a car worse on purpose...

When I was standing around waiting to pay the garage for the enw tyres on my car, I heard this classic... A guy came in and told the mechanic his story - basically he had been sold a dud, and had successfully sued the seller, but the seller was practically bankrupt, so the guy was giving him...

    Shed Base

Your concrete base should lay on top of about 3 inches of compacted hardcore, and then be about 3 inches in depth itself (thus requiring a 6 inch excavation). Therefore total volume required is 3 inches x 12' x 10', which I make to be about 30'cubed, or just under 6 cubic litres.

    ford focus

Not too tricky... First, remove the door trim panel (leave the window up). Pull back the weather shield to expose the inside of the handle. Look at the back side of the door handle, you will see two brass colored screws with a torx head. Remove the screws. Now on the outside pop off the...
