not sure digital gauge changes to temp as soon as heating clicks on

boiler loses pressure when heating is on,lost 1.2bar in 4 1/2 hours no sign of leaks has happened on 2 consecutive days. ok just done some more checking and am discharging water from discharge safety valve could valve be faulty
