Before I went ahead and purchased a new driver I thought it best to check the old one. I get around 86 volts dc output from the driver. The LED’s however are flashing. Would this indicate the LED’s are at fault? I don’t have a dv power supply that puts out 80 volts to test the LED’s.

Hello, I have the above mentioned boiler and interested in anybodies thoughts. If hot water has not been run for 30mins or more then i can get hot water but if hot water has been run and then i run it again in quick succession then it runs cold. To cure this i have to keep turning the hot...

It's difficult to say with the paint coming off aswell but I would say yes. What are you thinking? Would using an oil based undercoat help matters? Thanks Rich

The wall is what would have been the outside corner of the house until the kitchen extension was built but as it is now, it is an internal wall. There are no pipes that could be causing the damp. Any ideas then? I'm leaning towards rising damp but seems strange on that one corner?

I would put new screws in. Have you thought of using stainless steel screws-stronger than brass but wont rust. Then just re-fill.

The length of 2700mm is down the pitch not horizontally so would 18 spindles not be okay. i have 9 steps. What calculation do i need to do to get the centre's?

I am installing new spindles as mentioned in other posts. The length down the pitch of the stairs is 2700mm betwwen newels and i need to use 18 spindles at 19mm wide. Could someone tell me the centres to drill my spindles at whilst trying to keep the spacing gaps the same. I have researched...

Thanks for reply big-all. No the stair case is not a space saver. i have checked the angle again in several places and it still comes out at 50 but i guess i will have to work with what ive got.

Hi, i am in the process of fitting new spindles and i thought the pitch of the stair case was 45 degrees but i have just found that the pitch is 50 degrees. Is this normal-the house was built in the 30's? Thanks
