Hello,
Just after some guidance on insulating upstairs bay window.
Have some mould growth so needs sorting.
Cut back some plaster board and it had some very old insulation in.

Am I best filling the void with new loose insulation and then laying some insulated plaster board over the old boards?
If I do use loose insulation will I need a vapour barrier?
See pics

Thanks in advance

Kingspan cut to fit in between joists.
Watch YouTube on how to cut.
Then 6mm MDF over.
Then 9.5mm plasterboard.

The MDF will make it easy to fit curtains or blinds if required..

If thickness is a problem you can buy 6mm plasterboard.
6mm MDF plus 6mm plasterboard will be the same as 12.5mm plasterboard just about
