i was going to go for one of those 2 way units protected by RCD mainswitch as the client doesn't want something that costs too much in material and labour. And replacing the fuseboard will cost him arm and leg as there's a lot of mimms cable :)

Am sure you could keep them 50mm apart even in dry lining, it's not too difficult unless you put power and low voltage through the same point of entry??

I've tried to look about for Matrix at a decent price but the only ones half decent in price can only be used with hdmi cables and not cat5e, cat 6 or cat 7. Also i wanted to ask wether all matrix will give full def @50m or greater. or if anyone knows any decent links for a whole matrix...

I know this is a long shot. Is it at all possible to get an rcbo that has design to fit the din rail and busbar of a sb6000 type 1 crabtree mcb?? Otherwise i'll just put up an additional small RCD board to cover this particular circuit. Let me know thanks ;)
