As above could anyone tell me where the flow restrictor is situated on said boiler please. My dads hot water flow has reduced recently, I've checked the filter near the flow switch but thats clear and I want to check the flow restrictor for blockages. TIA Filsyn

Get an engineer in as it sounds like the PCB, and on these I'm pretty sure you'll need both the main PCB and the user interface PCB.

It's probably going to lock because when the DHW modulates to low flame it isn't sensing the low flame. If you're not gas safe registered call someone in who is and explain this may be the fault, if this is the fault (and thats what seems to be happening) then it will only take him a short time...

You may need to adjust the flame rectification probe, it works OK on DHW because it goes straight into full burner and when there is a demand for CH it isn't sensing it in low burner, I've had this once before.

I have a problem with the above boiler on the hot water side, when you call for DHW the boiler fires up OK in low burner but then stays in low burner with the temperature lingering at about 55 degrees c (control set to high). After maybe 2-4 minutes (period of time varies) the burner comes on...

Option 4, put some X800 in for a few hours then drain the system, removing and flushing out each radiator 1 at a time and then refill and drain a couple more times, this could sort you out for a few years. It all depends on how you are financially, option 2 is just throwing money away IMO, if...

When you swapped the wires over did you go "heating on" to "heating on" etc, or did you swap them "1" for "1", "2" for "2" etc? Also you seem to have a permanent live to HW off via link?

For £500 you won't get a Worcester, and if you thinking £500 for boiler and fitted you've no chance, you'd be lucky if you get a single point water heater fitted for that.
