I have recently moved into a new property with a FLAT fireplace wall. I would like to have a FALSE chimney breast built (for character) and then install a "living flame gas fire" into the "fireplace". I hav'nt a clue how this can be done. What does the false chimney breast need to be made...

Hi. Thanks for your help. The trouble is, I want to put a "living flame gas fire"into the fire place so that is the concern. I imagine that the false chimney breast would have to be heat/fire proof, so I'm not sure of the regulations on that, or how that could be done. Thanks again.
