Got it working eventually, the bloody key was not co-ordinated with the lock/unlock picture on the black pipe. Question, is it safe to leave the key in on the lock position?

But the problem have is that they key will not lock and therefore when I turn the grey tap on the water just purs down the key. The problem is that for some reason the key does not engage correctly into the locked position.

Hi All, I have a problem fillin gthe boiler, it's a Worcester28CDi. I have put the key into the black pipe lined up to the unlock picture and then turn to the lock position but it doesnt lock. If I then turn the grey tap to fill up the boiler then water leaks out from the key (black pipe) area...
