For the past 4 days there's been a smell coming up through the little cupboard next to our front door (inside the house) where the gas meter used to be. The meter was moved outside years ago but there are still pipe holes in the cupboard floor and the smell seems to come up through the holes...

How many washes will it take before it sounds normal?[/u]

Iv just put my Indesit washing machine on for the first time and when it does it's slow spin as part of the wash cycle I can hear a sparking sound inside which I presume is coming from the motor. I can also see a few sparks underneath the machine.You can't hear the crackling sound when it spins...
