Why not do a suspended timber floor and insulate between the joist? Wall plates on 2 opposing walls, then joist hangers and joists. Leave a space under the joists for air to circulate and fit a cple air bricks.

It's the wall that seperates the garage from the house. It's brick on the garage side, and hollow blocks on the inner leaf..... plastered obviously.

It's not exposed.... the wall is the central wall in the house.... its not (and never has been) an external wall.... so I don't think they'll be any trays above it anywhere. It's a fully internal wall.
