Hello. I know what an f76 code means, thermal link on h/ex failed. Let me ask why!! Surely low water content fault codes should appear first. Why should this link go. I have seen low water content or dry fire codes which is easily remeded. So why would a link just go. Vaillant were very sketchy...

sorry if your original supposedely breakdown man changed the valve he should also be able to find an electrical fault on your central hting system!!!!!!. Basic knowledge.

The previous post is on about the type of system you have. There are quite a few. If you are convinced the cold feed is clear then it sounds like a simple air lock. Various ways of curing but to involved to explain here. Involves sucking and blowing on cold feed and expansion pipes...

Make sure who ever you get is Heatline aware!!!

Oh yeah. Magna cleans are plastic but do not forget so are most internals of boilers these days as are pipes as well...

Later magna cleans are fine!!!! Spiro tech's, sorry just seem to see nowt come out of them. Been to manufactures demo but sorry end of the day open up a magna clean and it is so much more convincing. Magna clean is more awkward to fit granted. Had no prob's with valves and done loads.....

Possibly you did not get the key into the loop properly. They can be a bit notchty to insert. Water would poor out if it was not fully home.

That's poor service. Only an auto vent hardly rocket science and a pretty standard item.
