Thanks for your help. I think I have found the fault it seem's to have been the wiring or switch next to the number plate light.I have disconected it from the wiring harness and it's been ok.

Please can anybody help, I have a 53 reg Mondeo 2 lite DCTI Estate which the tailgate unlocks itself intermittantly and the unlock switch on the dash board has stopped working. Thank. :?:
