    I am the amateur in this situation... not the plumbers!!! They are definitely Corgi registered. The boiler works but it cuts out. The top half, the metal casing gets extremely hot. I think the only thing I can do is get another opinion. Thanks

    No mains stopcock ANYWHERE

    I just wondered if anyone had heard of this before. I have NO OFF SWITCH for the mains water supply to my flat. There is no stop cock outside the building as it appears to have been concreted over at some point by - who knows - the council or previous owners or maybe even cable installers...
