Hi So after a lot of messing around with a new diaphragm and micro switch my pump has given up the ghost as well ( well it does come in 3s ) Any ideas on where best to buy....have seen prices upwards of £95 - £160 all for the same part... Any links/rerecomendations greatly...

Boiler is upstairs, the noise of water is only on when the boiler is on ( heating ) do I need to put the boiler on and turn main stop tap off and see if it stops ?

Water pressure is at 1.5 bar when cold ( in the green ) and rises to 2 when heating is on, is the pressure relief pipe the one that comes out the wall outside on the same wall as the boiler ? If so then no, no water coming from that and yes filling tap is off , this boiler has me scatty ! Thanks...

Ok, am back...again.... Alpha cb28 - New diaphragm ( replaced in the summer) and new micro switch ( replaced a week ago ) getting hot water and heating now :) BUT i now have a sound of running water coming from the pipes under/leading in to boiler ??? Is this normal ?? Have bled all...

I increased the pressure and it still cut out, and it does only have 2 LED lights and have only ever seen red and yellow, never any other colour, the manual also says it only has red/yellow neon lights. I think i would prefer to buy a new part rather than bend or mess with the one that is...

Hi, Have posted on here before and got great advice and help so am back again for more....CB28 had a new diaphram few months back and all was good then all of a sudden im not getting hot water, sometimes it works...and sometimes it point blank refuses and both the red and yellow neon lights...

Had to call uncle back anyway......water decided it preferred to be on my floor than in the boiler !! A pipe that we didnt have to unscrew ( the only one ) to get access to the diaphragm had worked its way loose and needed a new o ring......and to answer previous questions....yes the...

i can open the hot tap and get constant hot water but when i close the hot tap thats when the screeching starts and the only way to stop it is to turn the boiler off.....the noise is coming from the area of the new diaphragm. All the radiators are hot. Do you think it may be a case of trapped...

is the diverter valve another name for the diaphragm ?? im a bit clueless ha ha......if it isnt is it something that will need replacing/repairing straight away....and is it going to cost me a small fortune ? Thanks

Hi, It seems to be coming from the new part......forgot to mention it only does it when the heating is on as well......just ran a bath and the heating is off and the where no noises..... Thanks.
