There's only one rad with a working TRV, the rest have packed in through lack of maintenance before I moved in and are on the "to do" list when the boiler is replaced, so it's not quite that easy. Can the pins be adjusted "by hand" with tools in order to manually turn on/off? I've never tried...

I know under normal circumstances it should stay in to protect the boiler from limescale, but what about if I want to add a different protector for the whole system (i.e. MB-1)? Or are you saying that I don't need the extra protector and X200 on its own will be fine? I'll bear that in mind...
