    shower pump wouldn't start

Hey, thanks for the reply. No it was ok untill I did a total refurb to the bathroom, which includes a new thermostatic valve. When it worked the system was: c/w tank in the loft; 22mm feed to the h/w cylinder which is in the a/c cupboard (about 800 of the floor); 15mm cold feed to pump...

    shower pump wouldn't start

Hello, I've got a persisting problem with my shower. The pump would not start unless I "bleed" a bit of water out from one of the outlets of the pump. I have fitted check value to the hot water outlet, auto air vents to the highest points between the pump and the thermostatic value and raised...

    shower pump would not start

Thanks for the replies. C/w tank is in the loft h/w cylinder - in the airing cupboard, bottom me which is at about 800mm high. That is where the pump is. Pipe work: 15mm in and out. When the water leaves the pump goes up in the loft, then down into the shower value, then back up in the loft and...

    shower pump would not start

I've just installed my new bathroom, but the shower pump wouldn't start. My plumber thought that it is the pump (it was existing with my previous set up ), so I got salamander RSP75. It still wouldn't start. Then he found out that a bit of bleeding from the outlet of the pump makes it kick in...
