You have made me realise that my shed is as bad as I had feared and so think I will cut my losses and invest in a new one...annoying as it is. I don't want to spend lots of money on it and be wasting my time. If anyone could advise me on the main points to look for this time and if possible...

Thanks for that ...I did lots of research before painting the shed and I thought I was buying a good quality paint in Sadolin. Several websites recommended it as well as a beach hut company, which I thought was a good recommend. I can see what you are saying :wink:
