    Flue finding competition

If your that concerned I would take it up with the gas safe register, they should investigate Unfortunatly qualifications don't always ensure good workmanship, a 'messy' looking job may well be safe as could a 'tidy' job be unsafe, we as lay people have no idea On the upside there is no...

    > Has anyone found you your flue yet?... Sadly not :( > I see a lot of very questionable jobs installed by RGIs!...

    Gloworm flue required

A bit of luck at last, someone kindly sent me Gloworm's flue options list for my boiler, see below, so some part numbers to work with at last Spirits raised a search on Google revealed a number of pages referring to a part number, my euphoria was soon dashed as one after the other led to...

    Upgrade of gas supply

A question (possibly silly), do you mean a test with the current boiler (see post above for boiler models)

    Upgrade of gas supply

In answer to the previous 2 posts.. Current boiler Gloworm Ultimate 50FF, 50,000 btu (fan flue), proposed replacement Gloworm Flexicom 12HX, so around 40,000 btu (condensing), so not like for like, but less output, hence the original question

    Upgrade of gas supply

Sorry to mislead you there, I just meant it's is not a combi, does my small flat, 4 radiators and an indirect cylinder Obviously he was just quoting so no pressure tests were carried out, I just wondered that if in the absence of a test he had allowed to upgrade the supply to ensure...

    Upgrade of gas supply

The current boiler is a 7 year old Gloworm Ultimate 50FF, so approx 20% more 'load' and seemingly works fine on the 15mm supply RonS

    Upgrade of gas supply

Following on from my earlier flue post here... //www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=280509 I have got a quote for a replacement boiler (12Kw condensing for heating only), should I fail to get the flue problem resolved, this included the cost to upgrade the current gas supply from 15mm...

    Gloworm flue required

I've just checked it and it starts with 04, well that's cleared that up then :D, and your other comment pretty much sum up my call to them (see my last post) Cheers for that... RonS

    Gloworm flue required

A useful tack, I may well take that road, thanks I had contacted their technical department and thought they were quite helpful, saying that although all internal parts are still made, he couldn't recall ever being asked for flue parts as generally once installed they were rarely moved or...

    Gloworm flue required

Thanks for the replies, I've fired off an enquiry to DHS.. here's hoping :D, if not I'll follow up on the others suggested > And are you sure the boiler is only seven years old? I thought they stopped making these many years ago. I understand that they finished production in 2004, so...
