Thanks for that. Yes, they are probably 20 years old, from my previous alarm installation. The panel is just over a year old and the engineer said as long as I was happy that the sensors worked, leave them be. Looks like I need to spend money, but new sensors won't solve my decorating...

I see your point, but do I really need an engineer's visit every time I want to decorate a room?? Seem's mad to me. Why can't I do a user reset - I thought that was one of the reasons for a pin.
