yeh looks really old i turned it to o position put ptfe tape on thread and then the nut seemed alrite then he just phoned said he put the heating on and water started to come out had same trouble in another room when i did another radiator what would be the best thing to do now i got to go back...

just removed a radiator for a friend put blanking cap on the thermostatic valve seemed ok he just rung and said that when he put heating on the valve is leaking valve is turned off anyone help thanks.
