    Megaflo Pressure relief valve

All Done, he used the part a bought which was £60, labour was £84, happy with that. He says I was going about it the right way, because usually the cartridges pull out and push in quite easily. But he's never seen one so corroded enough, to be jammed in. His solution was to take the whole...

    Megaflo Pressure relief valve

Thanks Tony, in hindsight i would have bought the whole valve, and i probably will end up doing so. I'll give the cartridge's another go in the morning first. Yeah, its a cylinder/water heater, not a boiler, sorry, it's clearly not my area of expertise. But i'm sure i'm missing a simple trick...

    Megaflo Pressure relief valve

Sorry, pressure reducing valve cartridge. You are right, i'm no expert. I'm not trying to be cocky either, honestly. I would much rather have an expert to do it, but finding one is impossible, even though i'm sure they exist. I drained the boiler, because if i remove the pressure reducing...

Its the pressure reducing valve cartridge, it's not on the cylinder. It isn't the temperature/pressure release valve.

    Megaflo Pressure relief valve

it was wrong, leaking from the pressure relief valve. Looking at the literature it says with this fault, it's a simple replacement, one out one in. I have already paid £60 call out charge for a plumber who didn't have the right "ticket" to touch it. I've forked out another £60 on the part...

    Megaflo Pressure relief valve

Hello, I'm trying to change the pressure relief valve on my Megaflo. I've got the right replacement part, I've drained the boiler. The old valve has corroded so when i unscrewed it, the black plastic housing came away from the rest, leaving most of the valve stuck in. I can't seem to get it out...
