Hi everyone . I just had a solid Oak worktops fitted .. The carpenter said to get some Ronseal worktop oil .. We have applied 5 coats now .. But the worktop looks like crap ! It already has a few glass rings and some staining showing ! Please someone tell me how to solve this .. Im crushed...

If the ceiling light in the kitchen is on for say , longer than 5 mins , then it makes this bang sound when we turn it off . It is not on its own dedicated circuit , and its just a double strip light . The cooker is of course on a dedicated circuit .. Any ideas anyone ????
