We are replacing an old 6m x 4m felt roof on a rear single storey extension with EPDM and taking the opportunity to install a rooflight 1m x 2m. Bigger would be nicer but being cautious with the joists, weight-load etc. There is a small pitch but it is only 3-4 degrees at steepest point...

Update - local roofer that works in EPDM has quoted slightly less than felt roof fro similar job, and the work would include a transferrable guarantee. Hightechmembrane (recommended above) visited and were very thorough but are 4 time more expensive albeit not like for like. Like for like...

I will check the things you ask about when I get home. Is it reasonable to say that the Netatmo is not the problem here, and a fixed price repair with all parts and a service included should give us heating and hot water?

(What I’m wondering is if the diverter valve was not changed and the solenoid is sticking could that explain the problem?).

We have hot water but no heating. Off to work now so will try and makes sense of this and report back.

More info! This is all that seems to have been left behind. So could it be rather than change the leaking/faulty diverter valve, they’ve just repaired the leak - but the valve is still faulty and not switching between hot water and heat?
