Low Pressure Indicator on Airston Combi Boiler - advice please.

Hello. I still have no heating side of the boiler. The update is the pressure light no longer comes on when striking up the heating side. I have a YT clip to show and sound the problem. I believe there is air in the system but I am no expert. Any advice to sort the problem would be...

Low Pressure Indicator on Airston Combi Boiler - advice please.

Hello. Just tried the heating side again, after putting in the new part again as the leak was getting worse and I am away for a day or so. The heating started! Well, the boiler kicked in with the burners activated and then all of a sudden a huge clunking came form within the system, that...

Low Pressure Indicator on Airston Combi Boiler - advice please.

LATEST! I replaced the new 3 way valve with the old one just to see if the new part was faulty or could tell us something else. The old part, obviously still leaking, worked both the hot water and the heating. I turned it off and left it to have a meal. Some time later, I tried the heating...

Low Pressure Indicator on Airston Combi Boiler - advice please.

Hello All. I have just changed by 3 way diverter valve and all is well for the hot water. But when switched to the heating, the boiler tries to start up but after 15 seconds or so, the red LED Low Pressure appears. The pressure is at a good pressure. Please can anyone advise how to get...

Thermostat query - Beko A Class F/F (elderly parents)

Happy New Year All! My elderly parents have a Beko A Class F/F and has stopped working. The light in the fridge still illuminates. The weird thing is that there is only one control and that is to control the fridge part. I cannot see anywhere a control for the freezer section. I believe the...

Denso13. Once again, thank you so much for the reassurance about the item. Yes I appreciate this is probably the lowest price and wouldn't expect to get it any cheaper. The only thing that stopped me from getting it earlier was the query somebody else mentioned about the thread/nut size. But...

Thank you Denso13. Not yet as some were questioning the size of thread of an alternative, hence my earlier post showing the size of thread on the leaking part. I did remove it and thorughly cleaned the area, but it still leaks. Apologies for you having to wade through nonsense posts...

I am not hell bent on getting it replaced, just replying swiftly to those who are very kind in helping me try to sort out the problem. Though the fault is abit annoying as everytime the hotwater is called for, the drip gets worse and has already filled the bowl and spilled over the work surface...

Herts P&D. Yes it was leaking from the 3 way valve for sometime. I had an friend engineer booked in to do it but he fell ill and I was made redundant too, over a period of time it wasn't repaired. But I manage to do it myself a couple of years ago. That is why I said I in an earlier post, I need...

The attached image shows two valves/taps with the leaky one on the left. The second one on the right, I have used before to drain away the main water to allow me to replace the diaphram, actuator bush, spring kit for the 3 way flow group. All it appears to do is act like a tap, turn the black...

The leak is just due to age of the plastic. It has only just started leaking and wasn't when he serviced a year ago, therefore would have been picked up at that time if it was. Good for you you have older boilers on your books. You must be a decent engineer. I am not an...

I thought that but it is not. The pipework above is bone dry. When the hot water is turned on, the water comes out of the side port. It's a good few years old now. ;)
