firstly, I am in uk, can,t explain why it also got posted on overseas site.
I switched it off to replace a light switch then realised it was a bit dark so changed my mind.

I switched my downstairs lighting circuit trip switch off/down and then tried to switch it back on again and it will not stay up/on.
I did not do any electrical worl and everything worked fine before,
Does this point to a faulty trip switch?

I switched the downstairs lighting trip to the off/down position with the intention to replace a light switch front to a nice brass one, but decided it was to dark so turned the trip switch back up/on straight away, but it will not stay up, I had not done anything at all and it worked fine...
