Here are some images of the kitchen ceiling where the oil boiler exits the room from above. I have chipped off the old plaster to reveal this. The height of the ceiling appears to have dropped around the pipe. Any advice most welcome.

Moved one of the above for a relation yesterday. Didn't make a note of which way the hot and cold supply pipes go on the rear. There are no markings on the rear of the washer. Haven't been able to find a manual. Anyone able to help which way the supply pipes go? Many thanks Cyclopse
