    induction hob wiring

Hey all.. I am having an induction hob installed instead of my current gas hob.. Currently I have my cooker power switch approx 4m from my fuse box (6mm cabling to a 32Amp breaker) . This then has 6mm cabling to a single power socket that my oven is plugged into.. I had presumed that when i get...

New electric hob. Wiring help needed

Sorry for the delayed response. The new hob is 7kw. Not sure on the oven wattage but that is fitted as standard with a normal household 3 pin plug. The circuit is only used for the cooker and eventually the cooker and hob combined.

Keep the start button held down for about 10 secs then it should go through a self clean cycle. If that doesn't work check the filters in the round drain...

Hey. I am wanting to fit a upvc door into my detached garage. I have been given a door and doorstep. The sensible thing would be to pay a builder but since my divorce I am skint so I want to try it myself. Does this plan seem fair ? Measure up door and mark this onto external wall or garage...

New electric hob. Wiring help needed

Hi all. I am replacing my gas hob with an electric hob. I already have a standard power socket behind the oven. Could I connect the hob to that or would it overload the wiring if everything was on full. The breaker in the consumer unit is 32amp (blue colour). Also. The new hob has 5 wires. One...
