    yes good point...he says he is very cautious. My understanding is that tthe joint with the bottom of the tap with fibre) washer can weep at any time...ie as much as 6 months or a year later. This happened with a toilet ...and caused some famage

    Oh right...well 6000 btu is a big towel rail!!! so maybe as space is at a premium on the walls I should have a radiator below with a towel rail above...but don't like the sound of that. not sure there is oom for a radiator anywhere else...unless I put it beneath the window.

    My plumber is worried about putting the taps in the middle of my new bath as it is against a solid wall...so no access from behind if any leaks, otherwise it means ripping bath out if leaks happen. He suggests chasing pipes into wall and using a wone unit bath filler attached to wall...

    Thanks for that. Got myself a multimeter. Found out that L1 and L2 work together and L3 and L4 work together. But for some reason the little LED is on all the time (if quite dim) although the switch works on and off? Not sure why this is. ?
