Best way to extend Pyronix Enforcer to outbuilding

Hi, I've got a pyronix enforcer system in the house which I'd like to extend to an outbuilding that can be set independently of the house, with its own keypad to set/unset etc. Alarm cable has been laid to the building and there is hard wiring for a PIR, door contact and internal sounder. It...

What is Howdens Prime Worktop Oil?

Starting to wonder if Hard Wax Oil might be a good solution. Certianly considering it for my kitchen floor now the varnish is starting to look a little tired.

What is Howdens Prime Worktop Oil?

I did have half a tin of the old stuff left (which had gone hard) and it didn't say anywhere on the label what sort of oil it was. Will Teak or Danish work on top of the old oil regardless of its compositon? I don't mind doing a little sanding BTW. Jim

What is Howdens Prime Worktop Oil?

Hi Folks, I have a kitchen worktop that needs to be re-oiled. It was originally oiled with Howdens' Prime Worktop Oil, which has lasted well. I'd like to re-oil it with the same, but since Howdens are refusing to sell to me as I'm not trade, and are also quite grumpy and refusing to discuss...

Hi Folks, I'm fitting this outside mixer tap through a 37cm thick brick cavity wall. The tech spec states that I need to drill the holes at a "slight downward angle" in order for the tap to drain properly. My question is, how do I drill two holes with matching downward angles, so that they are...

    Narrow Roof Window

I think it is one of the conservation style skylights (we are not in a conservation area though, so can fit what we like) but all the conservation style rooflights I can see are for "uninhabited spaces", so might not be suitable for the room we have. Jim

    Narrow Roof Window

Hi Folks, Right I had a good measure up. One skylight is fitted between rafters that are 474mm apart and the other is fitted between 460mm rafters. Anyone else know where I could find some roof windows that would fit? The closest I could find are these...

    Narrow Roof Window

I'll give it a proper measure up tonight, but it appears to be around 450mm.

    Narrow Roof Window

Hi Folks, I have an attic room with a dormer plus two skylights (one in the room itself and one just outside in the stair well) that have badly corroded frames that are starting to leak. I'd like to just replace them with new ones, but i'm struggling to find any that fit. They are narrow...
