Tiles on sand base
Unfortunately it's the kitchen floor :cry: , gap is down to the floor space under floor, looks like rubble and sand was used to fill in and floor laid on top.- axsanexvoice

Tiles on sand base
Hi Forum, I'm not sure if this should really be posted under DIY disasters! :lol: A few tiles in the kitchen became cracked and wobbly so I decided to pull them up and re-fix the wobbly ones and replace the cracked. Once I pulled up the tiles, I'm not sure exactly what I've found...- axsanexvoice
