I would advise to fit either a Wallstar or a Grant Vortex. Both are very common on my patch and both very reliable. If it's only small building and space is needed the vortex can come in an external model, where the Wallstar is a through the wall boiler but they also have wall hung and floor...

Sounds like Classic Danfoss solenoid coil fault. Oh, and your pressure gauge doesn't fit between the pump and the burner so don't worry about getting any fittings for it.

To be honest, you need to adjust the pressure down to where it should be BEFORE it gets to the point of sooting - prevention is better than cure and all that. If in doubt switch boiler off until you get that gauge. I'm not entirely sure but I don't think there would be any problems if this pump...

Try the high limit cut out reset button.

I must say, our first thought was they are doing 'a Riello' on us, at least there are other manufacturers we can use if things do get bad, Delta etc, not like the Riellos where we were stuck with one make until they got their act together.
