Yay I got heat :) the straight pipe inside the wall was blocked up managed to clear it and now I got heat :)

Ok so I now have holes in my walls and all the flexis are kink free :( now what ??

there will be very little difference in distance as the original pipes came down the outer wall then across the kitchen wall to the rad now it goes the same distance (maybe a little less ) in the opposite direction . 1 question should i be able to blow down the return pipe ? if not is it...

I know it has worked but it was in a useless position in the kitchen because 7 feet away once the wall was removed was the dining room rad which is 3 times bigger so you didn't even notice the little one ! thats why i decided to move it through the wall into the conservatory where there is no...

haha the whole house is 10mm microbore :( the flexi pipe which is causing the problem was fitted by a plumber when we had the extention built :evil: so i can say to the wife in all honesty "it wasn't my fault"lol i have even though its in flexi gone up to 15mm on my bit 8)

Don't know if it helps but i connected a flexi to the rh valve (which i presume is the return ) and tried to blow down it but couldn't ! so if i couldn't blow water down it how can the heating pump move it round ??

Its a normal valve ! i thought the same thing so i disconnected the pipe in and could open and close the valve stopping the rad draining and emptying when open.

ok so how do i test if the filling loop fills both sides of system flow and return and how do i check that both isolating valves are open on the boiler ?

Should water come out of both valves ? The left hand valve runs hot when disconnected and will fill the rad but the right hand valve does nothing ?

Hi Peter, thanks for the info i just tried it and it worked for a while but as soon i connected the second valve the flow stopped and the radiator went cold again :cry:
