Another 1 Radiator not working

haha the whole house is 10mm microbore :( the flexi pipe which is causing the problem was fitted by a plumber when we had the extention built  so i can say to the wife in all honesty "it wasn't my fault"lol
i have even though its in flexi gone up to 15mm on my bit 8)

I hate 10 mm it blocks with sludge much easier than 15mm, I have even seen 8mm. No self respecting plumber would use flexi on a heating circuit. was the section with the flexi in working before you added your bit to extend the pipe work?

I know it has worked but it was in a useless position in the kitchen because 7 feet away once the wall was removed was the dining room rad which is 3 times bigger so you didn't even notice the little one ! thats why i decided to move it through the wall into the conservatory where there is no heating just to keep the chill off.

test the pipework section before the added on section. also the new length might be a prob. Max flow and return length of pipe for an 8000BTU load is 50ft. the pump can't move the water fast enough without excessive noise if this rad load is exceeded. for ever 90elbow add 3 feet for a 45 add 1.5ft, for bent pipes with former add zero. 3412 BTU =1kw. I once had to rad a length of 10mm which was blocked with sludge it was 4 meters long from rad, had to cut it each end the use curtain wire to push the sludge out as a solid plug.

there will be very little difference in distance as the original pipes came down the outer wall then across the kitchen wall to the rad now it goes the same distance (maybe a little less ) in the opposite direction . 1 question should i be able to blow down the return pipe ? if not is it possible to connect my compressor to it and blow it clear ?

If you can expose both ends of the pipe without it being connected to the boiler yes, and is the compressor for an air gun type? in which case it may work, or rod it with a length of curtain wire.

Not necessarily, you can turn all the other rads off both ends, disconnect the flow or return pipe whichever it is from the boiler, and use that as the other end, distance is no object with a comp.

If is definitely return pipe then that's easy, which ever one is cool when the other one gets hot when boiler starts heating rads.

good thinking batman lol and seeing as i can get hot water out of the other pipe then i think i'm safe lol

nah it will be after christmas now as i'm back at work and i need to get my compressor back ! but i will let you know the out come !!
Merry Christmas and thanks for the advice :D
