    im just going by what i was told, seeing as you are a member of teh scheme is that £3k got anything to do with the fees involved in becomming a competent person either way for me its all in the charge im paying the sparkys just annoying these things get told to me after the work has started

    Sorry thats iphone auto type for ya LOL The sparky said that the actual certificates that are given to the customer and to register with the authorities, so that they can give the notification of work carried out cost is £3000 so he has not registered for that. and will be calling another guy...

    The old goats still refer to it as zone 3. It still is the same thing as dimensions and area sizes not changed just the name

    im using 12V as i dont have a decent place within zone3 to install a 240v plus its better safety The 12v SELV fan can only go in Zone1 and its cheaper and easier for the fan to be 12v rather than to get a 240v and put it on its own ring spur
