That'll be why then; outside of the forum there is no distinction between registered and non-registered members (as that's not possible - different systems etc). Fair point about navigating back to the forum home. There is a link below the logo bar, but that only tends to take you back up one...

Are you going directly into the forum? or via the homepage?

If you are logged in (and remain logged in), there should be no pop ups. Ads are intentionally kept to a minimum for logged in members.

Hi Jonathan, unfortunately this sounds like something that is present on your machine that is causing browser redirects rather than from DIYnot directly. It can get installed alongside free downloads etc. Some more info here that may be of assistance to you...
