Attachment size had temporally fallen back to lower figure, but it has now been reset back to 12MB. Apologies for that. Please let me know if you have further issues.

I'm not sure why it is appearing there to be honest, it should be at the bottom of the page - not floating. It's not so much a feature, but a requirement. I will see what I can find out about why it has done this in your case.

If you go to Preferences: https://www.diynot.com/diy/account/preferences There is a now an option to hide the General discussion forum. You can switch on/off at will. One thing to note, it does take up to 30mins to reflect any change you have made.

Yes I believe this to be possible, but it would be achieved by removing your permission to access the GD forum, so as long as you were happy not to access GD permanently then I can do that. Give me some time to see if something more flexible can be achieved to allow you to switch on and off at...
