Thanks, ban-all The question of the 2 cables was one that concerned me. I didn't consider doing this without using SWA but wondered about the practicalities of making the individual light connections and how to get round the size of the cable. regards

HI, hoping someone can help me with a question on garden lighting. I have been given 7 small outdoor mains lights they are rated at 11w each but i have 7w energy saver bulbs to go in them. To cover the garden i reckon the run length will be around 30m and have 1.5mm SWA cable to do the job...
