where is the blank button? as an example, in order to to test the system you must hit the menu button and enter your pin to get to the program mode at which point you can test your system. But to exit program mode you are told to use the button which is almost a circle with an arrow at the end...

right i dont see it, but on the older style control panel it was the top button. So now i dont now how to substitute another button for it, i tried c for cancel but it doesnt exit program mode.

i wonder is it possible to buy a third party cover for the yale siren so as not to advertise exactly what system has been installed? It would need to have something to keep the anti tamper spring in pace too. I guess you could even just paint over it?

i asked yale why this is the preffered setting. They said because jamming isnt a problem right now but may be in the future but turning it on may give a rise in false alarms because of interference.

i have the yale easy install system and the manual says jamming detection off by default recommended. yet they advertise it as anti jamming,

just wondered why jamming detection is off by default for a yale wireless alarm, isnt this something that is required for a wireless system? or is it such a small risk that it isnt worth the extra false alarms?

yes i have tried. Its an old boiler they are not gong to replace although they did get ti lagged which made no difference. Ive read about tiles that can absorb the energy from the wall thus killing the line of travel of the vibration. Thanks.
